And so apparently we are now into our third heatwave. For those of us old enough to remember it, it is beginning to feel a bit like the summer of 1976. SO – I hope you are all enjoying the blue skies (rain I’m sure will come eventually) and also keeping as cool as possible.

The Committee met earlier this week and below are reminders for you all of the forthcoming dates. It would be wonderful if as many members as possible came along to ALL the dates below as we really do need everyone so that our lovely group continues to be able to put on productions.

SHED MOVING

We have to move all our stuff out of the shed so that it can be repaired. We have booked to do this on Thursday of this week from 7.30 pm (July 17th). Hopefully you will have read the Newsletter before this 😊. Again we really do need as many people as possible to help move the stuff. If a lot of us are there we should get it done quickly and it will benefit us all too.

DICK WHITTINGTON

The second readthrough is on Monday 21st July at 8.00pm. After this Hugh, Lynsey and Chrissie will cast the show. It would be wonderful if a few more members (and anyone else who might be interested) came along as we would like a few more in the chorus to fill the stage with songs and smiles.

DICK WHITTINGTON - REHEARSALS

As the casting for the Panto is taking place in July rather than September as originally planned, the start date for rehearsals will now be Thursday, September 4th.

AGM A reminder that the AGM is on Thursday September 11th . Linda will send out the papers shortly.
