Dear All,

Isn’t it lovely to finally have some glorious sunshine and to see the days are getting longer?  I do hope you have all had the chance to enjoy some of the wonderful weather this week - I’ve just walked Star through a beautiful primrose avenue – Spring seems to be arriving. 

 

Last week 22 members joined together for our Annual Meal and it was a really happy occasion with much laughter, reminiscing and chatter about the next show. It was wonderful that so many people were able to make it and let’s hope that next year those who were unable to join us might be able to do so.  In the last Newsletter we announced that Megan (Rensch) had kindly offered to direct 'Belinda'. Unfortunately, after two read through sessions, it became apparent that the show could not be cast and, therefore, will now not be performed this year. Our thanks go to Megan for being willing to take this on.  This did mean that it was highly possible that this year there would only be one show (the Pantomime) which was not at all what was hoped for.  However, all is not lost.
